60 million down the drain Kai Havertz scores again! Assists too. He is an excellent all around player. Goals/assists are a bonus. That Odegaard flick to him is a testament to it. He just knows where he needs to be. If he can sort out his finishing he could start to look like Bergkamp. He's got a deceivingly good technique and field scan. He's tall. Combative. A shithouse. And he's just getting into his prime. He turned 25 just recently. Really, what's not to like?

Noone underestimates Arsenal. Most people know we are a damn good team but give us stick for not winning enough trophies which is valid criticism. We keep improving and improving every season and looking more formidable every season and I think people expect that consistency from us now.

The Zinchenko/Partey pivot is intentional. Both excel in progressing build up in different ways and don't get in each other's way. Timber and Jorgi the same dynamic. We're going to have days where we have to pass through blocks and others where we have to carry through them and we've got so many profiles to break teams down now in so many ways. Arsenal are simply not the banter club they once were. They're more resilient, focused and cohesive than they've been since Wenger's better years. People are so quick to put pressure on Arteta for not achieving enough that they've completely ignored the fact that he's played a huge part in making Arsenal a BIG club again, making the fans believe and bringing us back to where we were which I'm grateful for. We're the ones who have even challenged City for the last couple of seasons and may well do again this season. Having belief and being being excited in your club in a league where only ONE club is going to come out on top is a great feeling so for that I'm glad he's still in charge.

I love this Arsenal team and I do think that a lot of our players are slightly underrated but I think to say that Arteta has made one of the best teams in prem history is a bit of a stretch. They certainly hve the potential to be in the conversation but they aren't there yet imo
